Donating blood is one of the greatest ways to help humankind. By doing so, we save someone’s precious life, and that is a blessing in itself. On this note NSS, BIT MESRA organized a Blood Donation Camp at Bit Dispensary ON 13TH March from 9 am - 4 pm. Maa Rampyari, Raj, Medanta, Sevasadan in collaboration with the blood bank of India were the hospitals that came for the collection of blood. VC Indranil manna, AGM Bikram Mishra of the bank of India were the chief guest for this camp. Many people including the NSS volunteers joined hands in this noble cause and donated blood. A total of 250 plus units of blood was donated. Also, a free health camp was organised to check whether they were eligible for blood donation. After donation donors were provided with Medals, Certificates and goodies.
